Golf Equipment, Golfing Equipment Golfers Would Use - by Danny Farrell Golfers are a strange breed of people and they use some things that are called golf equipment. Here are a some of the golf equipment golfers would use when playing golf.
Golfers Equipment - Divot Repair Tool - A golfer would use this tool after the golfer hits his golf shot onto the green and the golf ball makes a mark or a divot in the grass. A divot is a hole that is created by the golf club when it strikes the ground as well as the golf ball. The Divot repair tool is used to repair the divot. Every golfer should help to keep the golf course nice and playable.
- Golf Tee -A golf tee is used to raise the golf ball off the ground in the tee box to drive the golf ball as far as you can down the fairway and hopefully in the middle of the fairway. Golf tees come in all sizes and colors.
- Golf Ball Marker - This is used when a golfer hits the golf ball on to the green and it is close or near the hole. The golfer must mark his spot with the golf ball marker and pick up his golf ball. After putting If the golfers ball is still in the way of another golfers ball he must mark his/her ball. If the golfer doesn't mark his ball and the other players ball hits his ball the golfer will be penalized.
- Brush - A brush is used to clean dirt or mud from the grooves on the players golf clubs. The golf brush is also used to clean the dirt or mud from the players cleats.
- Towel - A towel is used to wipe the golf ball after being washed in the ball washer which is placed at the beginning of each golf hole next to the tee box. A towel is also used to clean off your golf clubs after every shot.
- Cleat Remover Tool- Some cleats are made out of rubber or soft plastic which on some golf courses will only let you wear this type. They also have steel spikes which most professional golfers use on the PGA tour.
- Golf Shoes - The better the golf shoes are more comfortable they are and the less tired you will become after all that walking.
There are all types of golf equipment to help you and aid you in playing golf. I am just touching on the basics. There is also a scope that you can buy that helps you determine the distance from where you hit your golf ball to the green. making it easier for you to determine your next shot.
