New York Met Tickets Come See The New Look
Mets at Shea Stadium by Vince Falcone
It seems like the tides are turning in New York, with the latest Mets
free agent signings everyone is looking for New York Mets tickets. Who
can blame them, Future Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez is sure to get
many wins now that he is with the Mets.
Another recent addition is outfielder Carlos Beltran. He can hit and
field with the best of them. He had an amazing post season with
Houston in 2004. Fans can't wait to see him hit some more homeruns for the
NY Mets. Speaking of good hitters the Mets traded for Carlos Delgado
which seems to be one of the best trades the Mets have ever done. It
solved three holes as he can field and provide power from the clean up
position in the batting order. Something the Mets really needed after
letting Mike Piazza walk away.
If you are looking to get tickets we have one word of advice and that
is to by them as early as you can. With games against the
Yankees and
of course the games against the Braves not to mention the new team the
Washington DC Nationals tickets will sell out quickly.
There has not been a buzz in nyc since the 86 mets took the city by
storm. We all remember what that team did.
Shea Stadium
There is nothing better than taking someone
to Shea stadium to see a game. The memories will last for years to
come. Just to see the look in a kids eyes the first time they see the
green grass is worth the price alone.
A bad day at the ballpark is still a better
than a good day at work. A baseball game is always a good way to bond
with your kids. You can even make it a family event and take the whole
family. The picnic area behind the left field wall is a great place to
take your family and the seats are pretty cheap.
If you are in Manhattan on vacation and you want to take in a
Mets game it is only about 20 minutes by the #7
train to the stadium. They also have a ferry from midtown Manhattan
that lets you off within walking distance of the stadium. The ferry
docks near the Worlds Fair marina in Flushing bay.
The best place to look for NY Mets tickets are Stubhub,
and Ticketsnow.com. Of course if you are willing to do an auction for
baseball tickets you can find some good deals on EBay.
If you can't find tickets that way you might want to try a game during
the week when they will be a little less crowded.
