Sports fans are crazy in some ways! The
strange thing about sports fans is that they rarely buy themselves
something they could use from their favorite sports team. Before you
disagree read on I will explain.
Sure sports
fans buy themselves a t-shirt here and there or maybe even a new
baseball cap but do they buy themselves something practical that they
will use often. Believe it or not they really don't.
Most sports fans could use a sports gift like a new NFL football
jacket to keep them warm while at the big game
or maybe a watch with their sports team logo. This will not only tell
them what time it is they will also use it all day at work.
Even a thermos with the NFL logo would be a wise sports gift since
this will be used is something that sports fan would use they just
wouldn't buy it for themselves. Another great idea is a
poster with their favorite team or
player on it.
I don't know what it is about sports fans that they don't buy
themselves these sports merchandise items for themselves, it is almost
like they get sticker shock or something. They go into the sports
store and will spend hours in there only to buy something for $20 or
less.
They will walk by that sweet looking jacket with their favorite
team logo on it 5 times and even check the price tag every time. Do
they buy it for themselves, the answer is no. They will buy an
autographed 8 x 10 of a sports star in a heartbeat though. Why do they
think that's a good idea I have no idea.
Sports Gift For Christmas
When a sports fan gets a sports gift it is better than Christmas
morning for them. It not only shows that you care when you give it, it
also shows that you know what they like or at least take an interest
in something they like.
Sports fans like to receive sports gifts
probably more than if you gave them a new car. There is just something
about it that is hard to explain. Even a new sweatshirt is welcomed as
they probably need a new one due to the age of the one they already
have.
If you happen to be married to a sports fan and they have one of
those old smelly sweatshirts you can do yourself a favor and get a new
one and put that one out of its misery. It might just be the best anniversary gift you can buy yourself.
